Brighten up your local community this Christmas
1st December 2022
With just a few weeks to go until Christmas we’re proud to be supporting the local community here at Kingfisher.
Once again, this year we’re supporting the Redditch Christmas Toy Appeal, which is organised by St Stephen’s Church and local charity, Acts of Kindness. Between now and 16th December visitors to the centre can donate new toys or gifts at Guest Services to help ensure that local children aged 0-18 can experience some Christmas magic. Find out more here.
This month we’ll also be welcoming back the Primrose Hospice gift wrapping station. The wrapping service proved extremely popular with our visitors last Christmas and we’re sure that it will repeat its success this year when it’s open between 12th – 17th December. Find the festive fundraising gift wrappers on 10am - 4pm on Walford Walk, near Clintons.
Board game enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that they can get their hands on a limited edition copy of Redditch Monopoly at Kingfisher. The board game is now available to buy from Guest Services with all proceeds being donated to Marathon Kids UK in Redditch over the festive period. A quantity of the board games have also been donated to Redditch Local History Museum to support them in their fundraising efforts.
