Make Christmas Special Toy Appeal

Donations accepted until Saturday 14th December

Kingfisher proudly supports the Make Christmas Special Toy Appeal

Once again here at Kingfisher, we’ve pledged to support the Make Christmas Special Toy Appeal and are a donation station for the local community to drop off new toys.

Christmas can be a stressful for time for struggling families however, with the help of the toy appeal, it is hoped that local children who are affected will still have a happy Christmas.

In previous years, the appeal brought Christmas joy to more than 600 local children, so we want to encourage our shoppers and the wider community to support this fantastic initiative once again. Organised by St Stephen’s Church and the charity Acts of Kindness, the aim of the appeal is to provide new toys to children 0-18 years of age.

If you’re able to do so, please do consider buying a toy or gift voucher from one of our fantastic retailers on your next visit to Kingfisher. With the likes of The Entertainer and Smiggle on-hand for a gift for younger children and GAME for those who are older, you’re sure to find something no matter your budget. Or maybe consider a gift voucher from JD Sports, for example, perfect for a teenager, or even some suitable cosmetics from Boots or Superdrug. No matter what you can contribute, you’re guaranteed to make a huge difference to a local child this Christmas.

Our Guest Services team are also accepting donations of gift wrapping supplies to allow donated presents from the Toy Appeal to be wrapped before being given to children.

You can drop off your toy donations and/or gift wrapping supplies until Saturday 14th December at Guest Services, located in Worcester Square.
