Karma Fusion Event, Saturday 2nd November

Join Brenda and the team from 10am on Saturday 2nd November for information on a range of therapy treatments. They will be located on Walford Walk opposite Trespass. 

Arts in Redditch Pop up Gallery, From 21st November

For their 12th Pop-Up Gallery, Arts in Redditch will be returning to the Kingfisher displaying artwork from 60 artists, with approximately 500 peices of work on show, as well as cards and other unframed works too. The gallery will be located on Walford Walk opposite Clintons until 1st December.  

Snow Play & Santa Experience, From Saturday 23rd Nov

We are excited to announce that indoor snow experience SNOW PLAY will back in the centre for the little ones to enjoy and it's going to be bigger than last year! Launching on Saturday 23rd November and running right up until Sunday 5th January, there's plenty of fun to be had this festive season.

Town Centre Lights Switch On, Saturday 23rd November 

Snuggle up in your hats and gloves, bring your friends and family and gather in Church Green on Saturday 23rd November for the annual Town Centre Christmas lights switch on, hosted by Redditch Borough Council, in partnership with the Business Improvement District!

Join us for an afternoon filled with fabulous family entertainment to get you all in the Christmas spirit with an array of special performances. The event is FREE and suitable for all to enjoy on the lead up to Christmas with a range of festive fun in store. The events will start in the Town Hall from 3.30pm. Full Christmas Light Switch on schedule to follow.

A Christmas Carol, Saturday 30th November 

Gather in Beoley Village Hall, B98 9AN on Sat 30th November for a Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens read to you by Birmingham Dickersian Fellowship. Tickets are £9 available from Carers Careline 


Christmas Fayre at Crabbs Cross Academy, Saturday 6th December 

Gather in the School Hall at Crabbs Cross Academy from 3.15pm for their FREE Christmas Fayre school fundraiser! Activities on the afternoon include: Raffles, Santa's Grotto, Christmas games, mulled wines, face painting & more Address: Crabbs Cross Academy, B97 5JH

Primrose Gift Wrapping Service, 19th-24th December 

The team are looking for Christmas wrapping, bows and ribbons donations! Please drop these in to their hospice 🎄🎅 Primrose's pop-up gift wrap stall will be in the centre located opp. The Entertainer from Thursday 19th December through till Christmas Eve!

They are also looking for volunteers to help out with the Christmas wrapping service. If you can help contact the fundraising team on 01527 889796 or email sarah@primrosehospice.org

Drawing Classes by Tony Collins

A new programme of drawing classes, led by local artist Tony Collins. Classes will be held between 10am-12pm at Canon Newton House, Kingfisher Redditch. Classes cost £4 per session with materials included and will run every Thursday for 10 weeks. The drawing classes are suitable for beginners as well as the more experienced. To access Cannon Newton House, simply take the lifts/stairwell by The Perfume Shop up to level 2 & follow the signs to Cannon Newton House.

H&M - Recycle your clothes

When you come to your next wardrobe clear out, you can recycle old clothes and discarded textiles instead of throwing them away with H&M in just a few simple steps;

1. Ask a member of staff for a garment-collecting box at H&M at the Kingfisher
2. Drop off your unwanted clothes & textiles 
4. You'll then get rewarded with a £5 voucher to spend in-store.*

Indigo Arts Workshops

The weekly workshops are back and they are looking for new recruits for the following :

Musicmaker Singing and Performance Workshops - Mondays: 4 - 6 year olds between 6 - 7pm, 6 - 11 year olds between 6-8pm, 12 - 18 year olds between 7-9pm 
Community Singers - Wednesdays: 25 years and over between 7.30pm - 9.30pm
Vocal Ink Creative Writing Workshops | every other Monday. 12pm

Littlewoods Knitting Group 

Learn the craft of knitting, crochet, tunisian crochet, broom stick lace, loom work and more for. £1.50 per week including refreshments every Monday 10.30am - 12.30pm | St. Peters Church, Littlewoods, Crabbs Cross, B97 5LB

Redditch Baby Bank

The Redditch Baby Bank is a volunteer-led project aiming to support new mothers and families who are struggling to meet the financial and practical burden of looking after a new baby or young children (aged 0-2 years).

They collect donations of baby clothing, equipment and toiletries which are then donated to families in Redditch and the surrounding areas who are struggling to provide these items themselves; including, but not limited to teenage mums, people seeking asylum and women fleeing domestic abuse and trafficking. Redditch Food Bank

Redditch foodbank relies on the community's goodwill and support to provide nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred in crisis. Food donations can be dropped off at Thomas Cook, Kingfisher everyday between 9am - 5pm. For more info: https://redditch.foodbank.org.uk/
