Churches together, Good Friday walk

The Good Friday walk of witness this year is this Friday 19th April starting from the Baptist Church, Easmore Road at 10.30am. The route will take in the Bandstand, HOW College, the Market place, Town Hall and Kingfisher Centre, reaching the Church Green West War Memorial outside St Stephen's around 11.30am. There will be stops along the way for readings and hymn singing, with the palm crosses from Mtwara and Hot Crossed buns offered to any who wish to receive them. Everyone is welcome to join in the walk.

FTBC @ River Island - Easter Weekend 

Join River Island at Kingfisher this Easter weekend as they will be dressing in solidarity by wearing pink to raise money for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer. If you would like to donate, the team will have a collection bucket in store until Monday. #FTBC

Worcestershire Fostering Recruitment Event, Saturday 18th May

If you have ever thought about becoming a foster carer, you can talk to the team at Worcestershire Fostering on Saturday 18th May from 10am - 4pm to find out how you can help. Worcesterhire Fostering will be located opposite JD Sports on Evesham Walk.

Arts in Redditch - Drawing Classes

Arts in Redditch will be starting a new programme of drawing classes, led by local artist Tony Collins starting on Thursday 28th March. Classes will be held between 10am-12pm at Canon Newton House, Kingfisher Redditch. Classes cost £4 per session with materials included and will run every Thursday for 10 weeks. 2. Drop off your unwanted clothes & textiles

Indigo Arts Workshops

The weekly workshops are back and they are looking for new recruits for the following :

Musicmaker Singing and Performance Workshops - Mondays: 4 - 6 year olds between 6 - 7pm, 6 - 11 year olds between 6-8pm, 12 - 18 year olds between 7-9pm 
Community Singers - Wednesdays: 25 years and over between 7.30pm - 9.30pm
Vocal Ink Creative Writing Workshops | every other Monday. 12pm

Littlewoods Knitting Group 

Learn the craft of knitting, crochet, tunisian crochet, broom stick lace, loom work and more for. £1.50 per week including refreshments every Monday 10.30am - 12.30pm | St. Peters Church, Littlewoods, Crabbs Cross, B97 5LB

Redditch Baby Bank

The Redditch Baby Bank is a volunteer-led project aiming to support new mothers and families who are struggling to meet the financial and practical burden of looking after a new baby or young children (aged 0-2 years).

They collect donations of baby clothing, equipment and toiletries which are then donated to families in Redditch and the surrounding areas who are struggling to provide these items themselves; including, but not limited to teenage mums, people seeking asylum and women fleeing domestic abuse and trafficking. Redditch Food Bank

Redditch foodbank relies on the community's goodwill and support to provide nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred in crisis. Food donations can be dropped off at Thomas Cook, Kingfisher everyday between 9am - 5pm. For more info: https://redditch.foodbank.org.uk/
