World Mental Health Day, Thursday 10th October

What is World Mental Health Day?

World Mental Health Day is an opportunity for all of us to raise awareness of mental health issues and advocate against social stigma. The theme of this year's event is suicide and suicide prevention.

Every year close to 800,000 people globally take their own life and there are many more people who attempt suicide.
We can all do our part however small to impact and reduce those statistics.

Mental Health Action Group Redditch will be in the centre in the unit opposite Supercuts on World Mental Health Day, Thursday 10th October to talk about self-care and to smash the myths surrounding mental health. Come and meet with the team and join in Reiki and Rahanni healing sessions, learn how to meditate, Create stone art, fill in the wall of hope or just talk.
See you there #Redditchcares
