Mental Health & Well-being pop-up Event - 16th & 17th August
Join Ahead of Wellbeing Community Interest Company, who will be in the centre on Friday 16th & Saturday 17th August providing information surrounding the stigma that surrounds mental ill-health. They will also be offering services to help those who are struggling with a building mental health crisis, support groups that are available to both men and women promoting the Time to Change ethos, as well as delivering therapies available with qualified and insured professionals with many years' experiences.
The team will be supported by a local small independent business, named Pocket Watch and Monocle who up-cycle and embellish vintage and pre-loved clothing items. There will be a range of items to purchase on the day.
The team will be based in the unit located opposite Supercuts from 9am until 5.30pm on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th August.
The Palace Theatre, The Little Mermaid - 17th August

Scool Uniform Exchange Event - 17th August
Don't throw it away - recycle it
The uniform exchange is an annual event organised by Cllr Joseph Baker. Families can collect donated school uniform at no cost. Come along on Saturday 17th August between 9am - 1pm. Items can be donated at the Ecumenical Centre or drop them off at Omega Therapies, Hewell Road, Batchley. Call 01527 65952 for further information
Rotary Club Redditch, Swing in to Autumn
Drawing Classes by Tony Collins
A new programme of drawing classes, led by local artist Tony Collins. Classes will be held between 10am-12pm at Canon Newton House, Kingfisher Redditch. Classes cost £4 per session with materials included and will run every Thursday for 10 weeks. The drawing classes are suitable for beginners as well as the more experienced. Indigo Arts Workshops
The weekly workshops are back and they are looking for new recruits for the following :
Musicmaker Singing and Performance Workshops - Mondays: 4 - 6 year olds between 6 - 7pm, 6 - 11 year olds between 6-8pm, 12 - 18 year olds between 7-9pm
Community Singers - Wednesdays: 25 years and over between 7.30pm - 9.30pm
Vocal Ink Creative Writing Workshops | every other Monday. 12pm

Littlewoods Knitting Group

Redditch Baby Bank
The Redditch Baby Bank is a volunteer-led project aiming to support new mothers and families who are struggling to meet the financial and practical burden of looking after a new baby or young children (aged 0-2 years).
They collect donations of baby clothing, equipment and toiletries which are then donated to families in Redditch and the surrounding areas who are struggling to provide these items themselves; including, but not limited to teenage mums, people seeking asylum and women fleeing domestic abuse and trafficking. Redditch Food Bank
Redditch foodbank relies on the community's goodwill and support to provide nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred in crisis.
