Team Kingfisher Tackles Redditch Race for Life

A dedicated team from Kingfisher, alongside colleagues from the Westgrove Group and Redditch BID, will join the Redditch community this June for Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life, raising vital funds and awareness for a cause that impacts so many local families.
Taking place at Arrow Valley Park on Sunday, 14 June, the event will see Team Kingfisher come together for the first time to support Cancer Research UK and its ongoing work to help beat cancer.
The team includes colleagues from centre management, security, housekeeping, guest services and Redditch BID representatives who work in and around the shopping centre on a regular basis. Colleagues from Westgrove Group will also be using their company volunteering days to participate, highlighting a shared commitment to supporting the local community and causes close to the hearts of many team members.
Several participants are taking part in memory of loved ones affected by cancer, making the event particularly meaningful for everyone involved. By taking part, Team Kingfisher hopes not only to raise valuable funds, but also to stand in solidarity with local families, friends and community members impacted by cancer.
The event also provides an opportunity for colleagues from across the centre and partner organisations to support one another while taking part in a positive community initiative together.

The team’s participation reflects the strong partnership between Kingfisher, Westgrove Group and Redditch BID, all of whom continue to support local initiatives, charitable projects and community events across the town.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to support the team, donate where possible, and cheer on all participants taking part in this year’s Race for Life.
