Olympic fever will be sweeping Redditch with the launch of Kingfisher, Redditch and Redditch BID’s Summer of Sport event.

The games area, located on Walford Walk near to Vision Express, comes complete with a mini race track, challenge wall, a variety of games and winners’ podium, the event will bring the nostalgia of classic sports day activities and the excitement of the Olympics to Kingfisher, Redditch.

The launch of the Summer of Sport event marks the beginning of Redditch's Summer events, which includes the Redditch BID Summer Festival on Saturday 17^th August.

Please note, the games area will be open daily from 11am-4pm. Children should not be left unattended and adult supervision is required.

Wednesday Craft Workshops

Get ready to unleash your creativity and celebrate the Olympic spirit at our free weekly Olympic-themed craft workshops and face painting sessions every Wednesday between 11am - 4pm

What to Expect:

Olympic-Themed Craft Workshops: Guests will have the opportunity to create a variety of Olympic-inspired crafts, from designing their own medals to making team flags and torches.
Face Painting: Show your Olympic spirit with vibrant face painting! Our talented face painter will be on hand to decorate your face with colourful Olympic rings, national flags, and other fun designs. £2 charity donation encouraged per child. All monies raised will be donated to a local Redditch charity

Young Olympians will receive a passport card on their first visit to collect a stamp each week.

11am - 4pm - Walford Walk
