Kingfisher gears up for the festive season

Everyone here at Kingfisher is preparing for a busy festive period following a year of exciting store openings.

Just last month, we welcomed popular coffeehouse Starbucks and greetings card store Cards Direct to the Evesham Walk area of the mall, both proving popular with visitors.

Other new additions over the last twelve months include the collectables store, Lazy Panda, independent bakery, Olawa Craft Bakery and creative arts production company, Top Box Studios.

Popular eatery, Cornish Connection, which has been at Kingfisher in its current form since 2014, recently moved to a larger 1273 sq. ft. unit in order to meet customer demand, whilst jeweller Warren James has recently had a store refurbishment.

General Manager, Ken Williams, said: “It’s been a great year for Kingfisher and we’re now heading into the festive period with a strong tenant line-up. It’s also been fantastic to see some of our existing tenants demonstrate their confidence in the centre with investment in their stores. We look forward to welcoming guests to the centre over the coming weeks as we gear up to the big day!”

Visitors to the centre will also have seen some of the community-focused tenants that have joined Kingfisher this year including Redditch Community Shed, which offers a space for combatting loneliness whilst working on woodwork and crafting projects, new start-up business kiosks in collaboration with Cute Marketplace and the Ping Pong Parlour where customers can enjoy a free game of table tennis.
