Redditch Christmas Lights Switch On

Christmas is returning to Redditch town centre this November, bringing an evening full of festive music, family fun and that brilliant moment when the lights finally switch on.
Join the celebrations on Saturday, 29 November at 5pm in Market Place for the 2025 Redditch Christmas Lights Switch On, organised by Redditch BID.
From 5pm, the town centre fills with live entertainment, festive stalls and a visit from Father Christmas before the big countdown.
Headline line-up
This year’s performers include:
- Gareth Gates as the main stage act
- Carrie Fern as Taylor Swift with a crowd-pleasing tribute set
- Mitch Loveridge, bringing local live music to the square
- Top Box Academy, Indego Arts and Shaun Paul Smith Dance Academy
- The BIG Sing from Britain’s Got Talent
- The Redditch Pantomime Cast with a taste of panto season
- Santa Claus, meeting families ahead of switching on the lights
- Festive stilt walkers and circus entertainers
Festive extras visitors can also enjoy:
- Wilsons Fun Fair with family rides
- Seasonal stalls and food traders offering warming treats and gifts
It’s one of Redditch’s biggest community events and a lovely way to start the festive season.
