Kingfisher wins big at Redditch Business Awards
We've been celebrating here at Kingfisher as multiple tenants and one of our own employees were crowned winners at the Redditch Business Awards, which took place on Sunday 23rd October.
The Centre's Senior Guest Host Leander Odell won Employee of the Year, with tenant Muffin Break winning Best Customer Service, Olawa Bakery winning Best New Business and Bainbridge Bespoke Opticians winning Best Employer.
Hosted by Redditch BID, the Redditch Business Awards opened its nominations earlier this year. After a shortlist for each category was announced in September, the awards process concluded with the presentation of the awards at the Palace Theatre's black-tie event.
Ken Williams, general manager at Kingfisher Shopping Centre, said: “The evening was a fantastic spectacle, and a point of great pride to see Kingfisher tenants perform so well – and of course our own Leander too.
“The finalists all represented the best in Redditch, individuals, small companies and larger organisations which is a great indication of just how much is on offer here in Redditch. The Redditch Business Awards are an event to look forward to for years to come, and I hope to see Kingfisher tenants on stage once again.”
