Centre update
Monday 19th September
All of us at Kingfisher are saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty the Queen, and our condolences are with the Royal Family during this difficult time.
Will Kingfisher be open on Monday 19th September?
To facilitate as many retail and centre staff to be off as possible, the majority of the centre will be closed. There will be limited access tailored to those businesses that have chosen to open. These include pharmacy services, some food outlets and to facilitate the free-to-access live streaming of Her Majesty The Queen's funeral, at Vue Cinema.
Car Parking facilities will be reduced to Car Park 1 and 4 only providing access into the Centre at Kingfisher Square and Kingfisher Walk.
Visitors wishing to access the town centre arriving by train or bus will be directed to use Unicorn Hill up until 1pm.
The retailers that we're currently aware will be open are:
- CeX 10am - 5pm
- Boots 2pm - 5pm
Eateries amended hours:
- Subway 9am - 4.45pm
- Caffe Nero closed between 10am - 2pm
- Nando's 4.30pm - 9pm
- McDonalds 5pm - 10pm
- Prezzo 5pm - 9pm
Puregym will be closed 10am - 2pm.
All other stores will be closed.
VUE Cinema will be showing the state funeral between 11am and 1pm which is free for customers to attend.
