Cllr Joe Baker says "The Redditch Labour Party and Partners School Uniform Bank is back again for its 10th year. I wouldn't have guessed that the need for this service would have grown over the years like it has, with more families than ever needing help. The cost of living has forced more people to look to alternatives for help and the Uniform bank provides that much need assistance. Not only does it help financially but also it help with recycling stopping unwanted clothes going to landfill. You can help by donations of good quality second hand Uniforms and Shoes, or you can purchase new shoes, Socks, and non labelled items and donate them to our stated donation points. Labour believes in supporting our communities and this has always been the case with the School Uniform bank."
Ken Williams, General Manager of Kingfisher Shopping Centre, said: “We are pleased to be able to provide a drop-off facility for the annual Uniform Bank here at Kingfisher Shopping Centre and hope that it encourages the Redditch community to come together to help families provide their children with school uniform for the year ahead.”
