As the latest national lockdown comes to an end and the countdown to Christmas can finally get into full swing, we're getting ready to reopen the centre to include non-essential retail on Wednesday 2nd December.
To give you more time for Christmas shopping and enable you to avoid peak shopping times, the centre will be extending it's opening hours. View Christmas hours here.
We're expecting to be busy throughout December, therefore we encourage you to plan your visit, shop alone where possible and consider visiting during our quieter periods which are usually in the late afternoon.
Access to the centre will be closely monitored using our existing footfall technology, with visitor capacity carefully controlled to help maintain social distancing and to protect our guests, occupiers and staff. If the density of shoppers rises to levels that may prevent social distancing, access to the centre will be reduced or temporarily stopped until guest numbers reduce. A number of other measures have been implemented within our centres to support good hygiene practice and social distancing.
To help you shop safely, we're operating a traffic light system, which will be clearly displayed at all entrances and on our social media channes:
🟩 Green = now's a good time to shop.
🟧 Amber = likely delays and some areas of the centre may have restricted access.
🟥 Red = expect delays. The centre is busy and you're likely to experience queues.
We are also limiting numbers of people in the toilet and baby change facilities and lifts at any one time.
We want everyone to feel as safe as possible and ask our shoppers to adhere to the government's guidance on social distancing to reduce social interaction between people to help prevent the transmission of Coronavirus (COVID-19):
- Do not enter the centre if you are experiencing any of the COVID19 symptoms.
- Face coverings must be worn unless exempt.
- Maintain a distance of at least 2 metres from all other members of the public.
- Strictly observe the stores' social distancing measures as instructed by their staff.
Please respect and follow the instructions outlined by our retail stores and centre teams.
We very much look forward to welcoming you back. Stay safe everyone. Things might be different this year, but our Christmas spirit hasn't and will not change.
