Purple Tuesday - Tuesday 13th November
Here at Kingfisher we are set join retailers across the nation in marking Purple Tuesday, the UK's first accessible shopping day.
Tuesday 13th November 2018 we will officially join the campaign to promote awareness about disabled customers, to highlight the difficulties existing disabled shoppers face and measures that can be put in place to overcome them.
Our guest host team, as well as our customer service team, will be wearing purple tops on Tuesday 13th November to help create awareness on our current facilities to our guests, and it will also be an opportunity for you to share feedback on how we can improve our facilities within the centre.
We are committed to ensuring accessibility for all and Purple Tuesday also marks the start of our pledge to hold one quiet hour for children with additional needs during every family event.
Being at the heart of the local community we are committed to ensuring all our guests enjoy their experience of shopping with us and offer a wide range of services for people with disabilities. Find out more about accessibility in our centre here.
To share your feedback with us, you can speak to one of our guest hosts in the centre, alternatively you can e-mail or phone us. Contact information can be found here.
