Kingfisher welcomes British Military Martial Arts to Studio One
The British Military Martial Arts (BMMA) is the only organisation in the UK to have both ex-military and civilian instructors teaching military themed martial arts.
All of the instructors are close protection experts and the syllabus they teach is a mixture of: Kickboxing, Boxing, Karate, Kung-fu, Tae Kwon Do, Ju-jitsu and MMA - all taught with a military & motivational flavour.
From Little Soldiers and Cadets to Adults & Ladies only classes, all are welcome at all levels, to learn how martial arts can be combined with fun, fitness and structure to help anyone get the most out of life!
Little Soldiers, from ages 4 - 7 years
Specially designed to improve motor skills, balance and coordination, whilst learning the values of self-control, respect and discipline. Learned skills include: teamwork, focus, control, balance, memory, discipline, fitness & coordination, through structured games - there's lots of fun to be had!
Cadets, from ages 8 to 11 years
As the little ones progress onto Cadets, they start to learn more practical martial arts and self-defence techniques. While still having fun, students are still taught the values of self-control, respect and discipline.
Ages 12+ years & Adults
Classes include full British Military Martial Arts, a combination of kickboxing and karate with elements of judo and jui jitsu, & military style fitness drills. Loose weight, get fit and have fun! Our classes are for men and women of all ages and abilities.
Ladies only classes (from September)
Our ladies only martial arts and boot camp classes are designed for women aged 16 & aimed at those who want to get fit, loose weight and make friends while building their confidence levels as they learn self-defence techniques.
