World Book Day is fast approaching and we're inviting all little ones to come and celebrate the day with us at the Kingfisher on Thursday 7th March.

What is World Book Day?

World Book Day is the world's biggest annual celebration of children's books, dedicated to celebrating the benefits of reading by anyone and anywhere in the world.

The annual event encourages parents/guardians and carers to read and share stories with their children for ten minutes every day. World Book Day aims to inspire new reading habits for adults and children as sharing stories has long lasting effects on a child's future!
