Kingfisher Shopping Centre is much more than 'just a shopping centre'. It is the hub of our local community, where almost a quarter of a million people visit every week – to meet friends and family, to eat and drink, to work, to enjoy their leisure time. There are many reasons why people come to the centre. As a result, there are many facilities that are provided over and above the shops, cafés and restaurants – that are available to our visitors.
The Kingfisher Shopping Centre has a wide range of facilities, including public toilet facilities, disabled conveniences, baby changing facilities, car valeting and public payphones.
The Kingfisher Shopping Centre boasts 4 Multistorey Car Parks all within easy access of the centre. Car Parks 2, 3 and 4 are located off the Redditch Ringway. Car Park 2 is the first car park on the right, just further on is car park 3 on the left and then car park 4 is just further on the right. Car Park 1 is accessible from Plymouth Road.
Child Safe ZoneIn November 2003, the Kingfisher Shopping Centre launched a new Child Safe Zone scheme to ensure that all children visiting the centre are in the safest possible environment and can be reunited with you, should they become lost, in the shortest possible time!
The Kingfisher Shopping Centre is pleased to offer a shop mobility scheme unlocking the many access barriers faced by people with a disability (permanent or temporary), through the provision of mobility equipment.
The Kingfisher Shopping Centre was recently presented with a Safer Business Award following the centre meeting criteria set by Action Against Business Crime (AABC), a government recognised body Security Award working with business crime reduction partnerships (BCRP) nationwide.
